I divert from my usual seriousness today. I’m sure it will return soon.
I came across this blog posting that made me smile, so I’m passing it along. New Year’s resolutions from a horse.
Here are Ernie’s resolutions, if he were to make some:
1. I will try to not whinny for my pasture mates or another horse when separated from others.
2. I will walk when person asks me to walk.
3. I will eat my grain more slowly, realizing no one is going to take it away from me.
4. I will greet my person willingly when she comes into the pasture.
5. I will wait to pee and poop until I’m out of the horse trailer.
6. I will follow other horses calmly and not try to lead all the time.
What resolutions would your horse, dog or cat make?
Boomer’s resolutions would be:
1. I will not be lame today.
2. I will not itch the hair off my hide.
3. I wil regrow hair on bald spots.
4. I will be a roping horse again.
5. I will not flinch at medicinal sprays.
