I’m selling my house. If you’ve stopped by here before, you’re well aware. (Click here for the listing.)
If you read my previous post, you also know that a friend is in the final stages of cancer.
Enter a yet unknown element: Kari Kehr.
She’s a high school classmate and friend committed to raising money for cancer and pushing her body’s physical limits at the same time. Why? Because Cancer Sucks.
For the second consecutive year, she will ride her bike 65 miles in the Livestrong Challenge, October 23-24 in Austin, TX. She needs to raise $10,000 to participate.
How do all these seemingly unrelated things fit together? Glad you asked.
I will donate $25 to Kari’s Cancer Sucks team for every person/couple who comes to my open house this Sunday, March 28 from 2-4 p.m. I’d love to donate up to $500, so spread the word and let’s keep my realtor hopping on Sunday. She’d love the company!
If you can’t make it Sunday but would like to support Kari’s efforts, you can donate here.
