Have you ever considered how hard your pastor works?

Imagine the myriad of issues church leaders face. As parishioners, we often only see what happens at weekend service. Behind the scenes, pastors spend hours studying, researching, writing and rehearsing sermons. They also spend a good share of time managing the business of the church – finances, personnel, committees, and some even take responsibility for building and grounds. They provide counsel to people who are struggling and comfort to the afflicted and dying.

Overwhelming, really.

Is there a leader at your church who could use some encouragement? Tell them about the FaithLift conference from the Lighthouse Covenant.

It’s a conference for leaders of churches of any size but particularly smaller churches. They’ll be inspired and recharged. It’s a chance for them to connect with other pastors and refocus/reignite their efforts with a heart towards God.

FaithLift is Sunday, June 6 through Tuesday, June 8. Here is the schedule of events and break-out sessions.

Sunday afternoon will feature a time of uplifting worship with a mass choir. Even if you’re not a church leader, you might want to come Sunday afternoon just for the worship. Check it out and spread the word.
